Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of CV Forge, currently offered through CV4G.com (collectively, “CV Forge,” “CV4G,” “we,” or “the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity under your account. Recruiters must have authority or consent to enter, edit, and share candidate information.
2. The Service
CV Forge provides tools for creating, tailoring, storing, exporting, and optionally sharing resumes. Features may include automated keyword analysis and recruiter collaboration. CV Forge does not guarantee employment, interviews, recruiter responses, compatibility with every applicant-tracking system, or any particular outcome.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for all submitted content, including information about candidates or third parties.
4. Shared resumes
When you mark a resume as shared, anyone with its link may be able to view it. Do not share a resume containing information you do not want accessible through that link. You are responsible for disabling sharing when it is no longer appropriate.
5. Fees and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Taxes may be added where required. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Service; comply with law; address nonpayment; or investigate suspected misuse.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on providers such as Stripe for billing, Amazon Web Services for infrastructure and email, and OpenAI for enabled AI features. Their services may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Resume suggestions are informational and are not legal, financial, immigration, hiring, or career-placement advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CV Forge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing terms
Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections depend on where the Service operator and user are located. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent through our contact form or to support@cv4g.com.
